so with the littlest crankbait basically just making long casts out there like I’m throwing down this little boat trail here and I’m keeping my rod tip basically about level okay and I’m reeling it pretty steady and I’m gonna slow it down every once wild just give that rod just a little twitch don’t overwork it don’t overwork it just every once in a while just a little twitch if you if you put too much into it you’re really I think hurting your chances of catching a fish so again a steady retrieve keeping that rod tip you know basically kind of flat just a little twitch maybe three twitches throughout the whole cast and what that little twitch does it does two things number one if there’s a little bit of grass may be stuck on the hooks from it may be getting tangled up on something that little twitch is gonna clean it off number two it’s gonna make that bait because these lipless crankbaits have a lot of rattles in them so as it’s going through the water with a steady retrieve and then I give it a little give it a little little shake it’s gonna change that vibration just a little bit and sometimes that’s all it takes to get that fish to react to it
